There is a fairly large gap between posts at this point, but I've been busy nesting... and resting like I'm supposed to... and doing a few other things like I'm not supposed to...
I'm 37 weeks on Wednesday, and I have mixed feelings about it. Part of me wants to wake up tomorrow and have the baby, and the other part of me wants to enjoy these last few days of two kids and a little time to myself.
Since the last post, JB has finished preschool. I cried while I wrote her teachers a note, and I cried when I dropped her off, and I cried when I picked her up. Hormones and milestones together surely do make a sobbing cocktail for sure...

Beckham sat in the chair by himself for the first time last week. Man! I can't take much more of this :)

Not sure what this is all about, but when I walked in, I thought I needed it.
We went to Cajun Fest a few weekends ago, and they had these huge hamster balls that the kids could run around a field in. These two tried out their hamster legs:
And had their faces painted.

They also had a bungee trampoline that JB was DYING to jump on. The line was an hour long, and I felt really guilty that we weren't going to the beach this year where she usually does these things (silly, but honest). So I stood in the crazy 95 degree blazing heat for an hour so she could jump on the thing... She enjoyed herself, but I was pretty exhausted for a while after that...
Nanny came over with a bunch of new books, which was really fun...
Beckham found a fun place to lay down - on top of napping dad...
And he went out to pick cherry tomatoes and tried on my rain boots...
Doesn't our last few weeks sound fun? More updating to come!
