Madden Christmas Card Photo Shoot 2012

Getting a Christmas card has been my Everest in years past. Sometimes that's all it takes for the Grinch to come out. I have caught myself saying things like, "You better sit still and look AT the camera and give me a REAL smile or..." It hasn't always been pretty. This year, however, was the opposite. It was pleasant, and fun, and we had the best Santa baby kisses can buy...

Here are the photos and the final results... Merry Christmas!

Don't you just want to kiss those feet?

I love this one...

Turkeys, Supers, and Feet

Here's a few more of these turkeys...

As I mentioned, this was the year of the supers. Beckham asked Jane Bradley to put on one of his new costumes - his gray one. She said she was NOT wearing a boy costume. So she put on her Wonder Woman dress, and I couldn't stand the disappointment on Beckham's face, so I put on the little superman costume, which became a little shirt... And one of us has our mask on upside down... I think it's me...

And in other news... This girl found her feet. Very exciting!

Beckham is such a clown...

This baby is so sweet

If you look closely at this photo,
you will notice that I am holding the popsicle for him... which he feels
is the best way so he doesn't get dripped on...

High Speed Holidays

Well, I guess the best thing I can say is that I've been so busy enjoying my holidays, that I haven't had time to write about them! But, since I love looking back on them so much, I can't skip the last few batches of photos. So... I know New Years means pushing a big RESET button on your life, making changes, moving forward, and jumping in where you are, but I am going to take the next few days to go back and finish up. I am scheduling several posts over the next few days that will be heavy on the photos, light on the commentary... probably the way most people like it anyway! So, here's a few months summed up...

Halloween Trick or Treating:

This was a superhero Halloween for sure. Beckham wanted to be Superman, so Jane Bradley decided she would be Wonder Woman... She likes for them to match, which is sooo her.

Trick or Treating is one of the highlights of the year on our cul de sac. My dad adds to the fun by driving the hayride through the neighborhood. This year, he stepped it up by bringing the big tractor and decorating the trailer with lights. This can only get bigger from here...

Beckham preferred to ride shotgun on the tractor
Playing dress-up on Halloween - I never throw away a costume!
